Suspect in the Murder of Couple Found in Aramus

Recently, the officers from the Criminal Police Main Department of the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with the Investigation Committee of Kotayk Province and the investigators from the Abovyan Investigation Division, have discovered and neutralized a suspect in the murder of a couple in the village of Aramus.

According to Shamshyan.com, the suspect, detained under suspicion of murder, had a dispute in the morning with the couple, who are his neighbors, regarding some issues. After learning that the couple had left their home to gather carrots in the fields of Aramus, he armed himself and approached them, committing his dark deed before fleeing the scene. The suspect is a 61-year-old man.

It is worth recalling that earlier reports indicated that the couple was killed in the fields of Aramus, with gunfire and stabbing marks found on their bodies.
