Russia Ready for Peaceful Resolution of Situation in Ukraine, Peskov Says

Russia insists that it is prepared for a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis. However, Europe and Kyiv show the opposite, according to the statement made by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.

“Yet Europeans and Kyiv are demonstrating absolute unwillingness to take any steps in this direction,” said the Kremlin spokesman. He also noted that U.S. President Donald Trump periodically speaks about the need for negotiations.
