Israeli Defense Minister Highlights Major Challenge After Hostage Return

Israeli military plans to destroy Hamas tunnels in Gaza following the release of hostages, reported Defense Minister Israel Katz.

“After the return of the hostages, the biggest challenge for Israel will be the destruction of all Hamas terrorist tunnels in Gaza, under the immediate creation of an international mechanism overseen by the Israel Defense Forces and U.S. leadership and control. This is the main goal of the implementation of the agreed principles for the demilitarization of Gaza and the disarmament of Hamas,” the ministry's press service quoted the minister.
