US to Deploy 200 Soldiers to the Middle East

The United States will deploy 200 American soldiers to the Middle East, according to a report by Agence France-Presse, citing U.S. officials.

"A group of 200 American military personnel will be stationed in the Middle East to monitor the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip," the publication states.

The report notes that the role of U.S. military personnel will be to "monitor, control, and ensure compliance with ceasefire violations." It is also mentioned that the group will include soldiers from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and possibly the UAE.
