Israel Asks Germany to Lift Arms Export Restrictions

Israel's Foreign Minister has requested Germany to lift its restrictions on arms exports. Foreign Minister Eli Cohen has been in negotiations with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock regarding discussions on the ratification of a ceasefire agreement. During the conversation, Cohen asked Germany to remove its arms export restrictions concerning Israel.

The Israeli side hopes that Germany will respond positively to the request and decide to lift the restrictions after the ceasefire agreement comes into effect, as reported by Ynet.
