Israel and Hamas Sign Ceasefire and Hostage Release Agreement
Israel and Hamas have signed a ceasefire and hostage release agreement. This was reported by Reuters.
The ceasefire is expected to come into effect within 24 hours following the Israeli government’s ratification, with a cabinet meeting scheduled for this evening. Under the agreement, the release of the last Israeli hostages will follow within 72 hours.
