Opening New Routes Will Contribute to the Restoration of the Historic Silk Road Route: Fidan

During the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Turkic States, Hakan Fidan highlighted the significant progress made towards achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus. According to him, this is crucial for stability in the broader region.

The Turkish Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction regarding the declaration signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8 in Washington. Fidan stated that the progress made will facilitate the opening of new transport and communication routes in the region, contributing to efforts aimed at restoring the historic Silk Road route.
