Fire in Yerevan Hotel Leads to Evacuation of 30 Citizens, One Person Hospitalized
A fire that broke out in the basement of a hotel in Yerevan was contained at 12:36 PM and extinguished by 12:53 PM. Approximately 4 cubic meters of carpets stored in the basement were burned.
The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported to NEWS.am that one citizen was transported to a medical center. Thirty citizens were evacuated from the hotel, and firefighters successfully prevented the fire from spreading to the hotel’s storage and kitchen areas.
It is recalled that at 12:07 PM on October 6, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a fire in the basement of a hotel located on Armenakyan Street in Yerevan.
