Orban Calls on EU and Russia to Start Negotiations
Hungary has proposed that the European Union and Russia engage in negotiations regarding the formation of a future European security system, stated Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in an interview with the Hungarian magazine 'Hetek'.
"We do not need to negotiate about Ukraine. It is important, but not the most important issue," Orban added. He noted that the current situation, where part of Ukraine's territory is under Russian control while the rest exists solely with Western support, requires a diplomatic solution, as it cannot continue indefinitely.
"The war must end not only with a ceasefire but also with a comprehensive settlement that guarantees long-term security for both sides," the Prime Minister emphasized.
