Disruptions in Ukraine's Energy System and Drone Strikes on Leningrad Region
The Russian Armed Forces' strikes have caused severe disruptions in Ukraine's energy system. This has been reported by various Telegram channels.
Massive pinpoint strikes have targeted Ukraine's energy and defense infrastructure facilities. According to sources, the targets were located in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Disruptions in the operation of the energy system have been recorded in several regions, leading to the establishment of strict schedules for power outages. At the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, the safety systems have been operating regularly while switching to backup power sources.
It is noteworthy that last night drones struck the "Kirishneftexcynz" oil refinery in the Leningrad region, one of the largest oil refining plants in Russia, with a capacity to process over 10 million tons of oil annually.
