Ukraine Officially Cuts Diplomatic Relations with Nicaragua

Ukraine has officially severed diplomatic relations with the Republic of Nicaragua. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, on his page on X.

The reason for this decision is Nicaragua's recognition of Russia's sovereignty over Ukrainian occupied territories. According to the publication from Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Republic of Nicaragua has made attempts to undermine Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, which is unacceptable.
