See, the opposition is not making a sound. Kocharian on the 44-day report

The chairman of the parliamentary inquiry committee investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war, Andranik Kocharian, has informed that the committee's report has been submitted to the parliament through the secretariat. "I do not know any other option, except for the parliamentary secretariat to deliver such a report to the president of the parliament," he said.

It is noteworthy that the Speaker of the National Assembly announced yesterday that Kocharian had not "legally submitted" the report. Kocharian pointed out that their goal is to have a report, but everything is being done to ensure that the report does not surface. "Look, the opposition isn't making a sound," he remarked.

According to Kocharian, the issue is legal. "According to the regulations, if the deadlines are violated, it means the report does not exist. Of course, this is legally disputed. If we agree that the report exists, if it goes to closed sessions, why isn't it going to the plenary? If it isn't going to the plenary, it means the report does not exist. And if it exists—whether closed or open, its place is the plenary hall of sessions," he emphasized.

Andranik Kocharian also mentioned that the overwhelming majority of the committee members have reviewed the report and have signed it. It should be noted that the committee presented the report to the National Assembly beyond the deadlines, and in this case, as the Speaker has pointed out, it cannot be included in the agenda of the plenary sessions.
