Pensions to Increase by 3000-3500 Drams, Says Arsen Torosyan

There are no plans to revise funeral benefits, announced Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan during a government session on October 1. He expressed a willingness to cooperate with the opposition to develop new programs.

"At the same time, we need to focus more on supporting all people to extend their lives," stated Torosyan.

Also, Arsen Torosyan announced today that pension contributions will be raised to 20% from the current 12% starting January 1, 2026, which will increase pensions by an average of 3000-3500 drams, as he stated in the National Assembly.

"Citizens can independently increase their pensions by making non-cash transactions," said the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs.
