Israel Doubts Hamas's Willingness
Israel doubts Hamas's willingness to accept the U.S. plan regarding Gaza. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar has warned that Hamas may try to 'evade' the implementation of the U.S.-proposed program aimed at ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
He stated that Israel's agreement should not come as a surprise, as Tel Aviv has not abandoned its goals in Gaza but intends to achieve them through diplomatic means.
'Israel remains committed to our established objectives for the war, including the destruction of Hamas's armed forces, the release of hostages, and ensuring that Gaza does not pose a threat to our state in the future,' he emphasized.
He added that Hamas 'bears full responsibility' for continuing the war and refusing to cease the conflict.
