A Disinformation Campaign is Being Waged Against Azerbaijan: Farid Shafiev

A disinformation campaign is being waged against Azerbaijan concerning the Middle East. This was announced by Farid Shafiev, the chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations of Azerbaijan.

Shafiev stated that while the previous campaign against Azerbaijan was related to Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, it is now connected to events taking place in the Middle East. According to him, similar campaigns are also being conducted within the framework of TPT, which contribute to fragmentation.

“Certain geopolitical actors are trying to undermine the organization’s agenda in the context of such specific meetings,” he said.
