448 Intoxicated Drivers Detected: Results

From September 22 to 29, during operations in the capital, Yerevan's police uncovered 6,975 violations of traffic regulations and transferred 221 vehicles to a designated area. Notably, 207 drivers were found to be intoxicated, and 282 individuals were driving without a driver's license. This information was reported by the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Additionally, violations included 20 related to registration plates, 1 with a fake registration plate, 1,745 for not wearing seat belts, 30 for not having child seats, 722 for smoking while driving, 618 for using mobile phones while driving, 304 for pedestrians crossing in non-designated areas, and 2,131 other violations. 158 vehicles were operated without an insurance policy, 221 had not undergone technical inspection, 119 had faulty headlights, and 100 had windows tinted. Furthermore, 75 individuals were arrested on various suspicions and taken to community police departments.

During the same period, patrols in the regions detected 16,246 traffic violations and transferred 319 vehicles to designated areas. They found 241 intoxicated drivers, 560 without a driver's license, and 6 with fake licenses. Other violations included 67 related to registration, 4,559 for not wearing seat belts, 215 for not having child seats, 530 for smoking while driving, 747 for using mobile phones, 75 for pedestrians crossing in non-designated areas, 2,538 for speeding, and 3,968 other violations. 479 vehicles were operated without an insurance policy, 1,008 had not undergone technical inspection, 990 had faulty headlights, including 34 trucks, and 198 had tinted windows. Additionally, 38 individuals were arrested on various suspicions and taken to the relevant community police departments.
