Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel will not agree to any deal with Syria that does not guarantee the safety of the Druze minority in Syria. This was reported by the Times of Israel.

According to him, negotiations with Syria are ongoing, and any agreement between the two countries is contingent upon ensuring Israel's interests, which include, among other things, the demilitarization of southwestern Syria and the security and protection of Druze people in Syria.
