You Are a Hooligan: Edgar Ghazaryan Addresses Rustam Bakoyan from the Parliament Podium

During a parliamentary hearing focused on the essence of legislative drafts regarding the protection of children's rights and the state's relevant policy in this area, public and political figure Edgar Ghazaryan stated that "at least 3 high-ranking officials among today's participants do not have children." He emphasized that the Human Rights Defender of Armenia has no children, as well as Rustam Bakoyan, who is presiding over the hearings, and one of the deputy ministers.

"I speak about this as a father of 4 children and having grown up in a family where my parents cared for 4 children. Social relations are regulated by traditions, moral norms, the heritage passed on from our parents, their advice and exhortations, the teachings provided by the spiritual fathers of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, and teachings and approaches that have been passed down through the centuries," Ghazaryan expressed in his speech.

Following this remark, Rustam Bakoyan, who was presiding over the hearings, ordered the staff to turn off Ghazaryan's microphone and instructed security personnel to escort him out of the hall. As Edgar Ghazaryan was leaving under the watch of security personnel, he turned to Bakoyan and stated, "You are a hooligan."
