Zelensky Proposes Jointly Targeting Drones with Poland

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes it is reasonable to discuss a joint decision with other countries regarding targeting drones flying over Ukraine. He stated that Ukraine's air defense system should intercept "everything flying towards us and Poland," according to Interfax-Ukraine.

"I think it is fair to talk about a joint decision. Not only regarding drones that fall on Ukrainians, which hinder their ability to reach Polish territory, but also about decisions made jointly. That is, we have air defense systems; we intercept everything flying towards us and Poland," Zelensky said during a meeting with reporters on Friday.

"And Poland is also intercepting everything flying towards them or us with their aircraft. We can only capture our western regions, where Poland has capabilities. Or it could be not only Poland, but also Romania. We do not rely on others for our hopes," the Ukrainian president added.
