Ukraine May Not Survive Without Western Support
Without financial support from Europe and the United States, Ukraine is doomed to disaster. This was stated by U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis.
“Essentially, their economy is completely devastated, and the only thing they can do is attract significant foreign investment,” he emphasized. According to the retired American military official, without such investments, Ukraine is fated for failure.
Previously, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine needed $120 billion to fight throughout the next year. $60 billion has already been allocated in the Ukrainian budget, while the other $60 billion needs to be found.
As reported by Strana.ua, the $60 billion mentioned by Zelensky is the only military aid that Ukraine expects to receive from its foreign partners. According to the head of the Ukrainian government, the government's priorities for the next year are defense and security, European integration, combating corruption, welfare, veteran policies, macro-financing and reforms, business, healthcare and sports, education and science, reconstruction, culture, and winter resilience.
