Our Response Will Be Thoughtful. Zakharova Threatens Japan

Moscow will not ignore Japan's anti-Russian sanctions and will take appropriate retaliatory measures, including asymmetric ones. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, as reported by TASS.

“Japan’s further unfriendly actions will not go unanswered, but our response will be thoughtful and based on national interests. We will continue to take appropriate retaliatory measures, including asymmetrical ones,” she said.

It is worth noting that earlier it was reported that the Japanese government had decided to impose additional sanctions on Russia and several foreign companies as part of its anti-Russian measures.
