EU to Impose Sanctions on Israeli Ministers Says Kallas

The EU plans to impose sanctions on Israeli ministers. This was announced by the head of European diplomacy, Kaia Kallas.

“Israel’s ground operation in Gaza will exacerbate an already desperate situation. It will lead to more deaths, destruction, and displacements. Tomorrow, the European Commission will present measures to exert pressure on the Israeli government to change the course of the war in Gaza. The suspension of trade privileges and the imposition of sanctions on extremist ministers and violent settlers will send a clear signal that the EU demands an immediate halt to this war,” Kallas stated.
