Report on Assault: Cadastre Issues Statement
The Cadastre Committee has denied allegations regarding the involvement of their officials in the kidnapping and assault of a citizen. In a statement, they noted, "The information circulating in mass media and on social networks that the head of the Cadastre Committee, Suren Tovmasyan, and the Secretary General, Mher Khachatryan, are involved in the kidnapping and assault of a citizen is not true."
Additionally, it was mentioned, "A report of a citizen being assaulted has been received, which has been promptly recorded and sent to the investigative body. The Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are taking necessary measures to clarify all circumstances of the incident and the individuals involved," said the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Auroranews.
It is worth noting that earlier, journalist Syuzan Badoyan reported that Cadastre head Suren Tovmasyan and his chief of staff Mher Khachatryan had allegedly kidnapped and assaulted the husband of one of their employees, causing him severe bodily harm.
