No Dangerous Messages Should Be Sent to Neighboring States: Thoughts from the CP on Removing Ararat from Seals

The apolitical force cannot take charge and solve geopolitical issues, even if they speak of businesses. However, let us not forget that the business environment is created through politics. This was stated by CP MP Tigran Parsilyan during a parliamentary briefing, referring to businessman Samvel Karapetyan's son, Sargis Karapetyan's statement. It is worth recalling that days ago, Sargis Karapetyan declared that 'this group has 268 days left.'

Commenting on the removal of the symbol of Mount Ararat from the seals at the checkpoints, CP faction secretary Arthur Hovhannisyan noted, 'The Republic of Armenia must derive from its state symbols, and the RA seal should reflect the symbolism of the state and be free from emotional, sentimental symbols. We are doing everything to ensure that there are no misinterpretations regarding the RA, and the seals and symbols we use should stem exclusively from the principles of statehood. Every action of ours should not send dangerous messages to the neighboring states of the RA. The RA is a sovereign state, and the seals that represent the RA in the world should express the symbolism of the RA. I regret that certain circles, knowing this simple logic very well, attempt to convey an emotional background. There is nothing conspiratorial here.'
