Iran Will Cancel IAEA Agreement in Case of Hostile Actions

The Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran has announced that the agreement between Iran and the IAEA, reached in Cairo, aligns with the framework established by its nuclear committee, which places special emphasis on security oversight and conditional cooperation. It warns that any hostile action will lead to the suspension of this agreement, as reported by Mehr.

Regarding Iranian nuclear facilities under the control of the IAEA that have been subjected to attacks by the US and Israel, it is emphasized that Iran will present its report to the IAEA only after obtaining approval from the Supreme National Security Council once the necessary security conditions are ensured.

“If any hostile actions are taken against the Islamic Republic or its nuclear facilities, including the restoration of previously closed resolutions by the UN Security Council, the implementation of these agreements will be immediately suspended,” the council's statement reads. This step also highlights Iran's warning that any foreign aggression or attempt to influence the UN Security Council against it will result in the cancellation of existing agreements.
