Wrestler Arman Andreasyan Defeats Azerbaijani Athlete

At the World Wrestling Championship, Arman Andreasyan defeated his Azerbaijani opponent with a score of 8:6, advancing to the semifinals. This was reported by the Wrestling Federation of Armenia.

The 26-year-old Andreasyan competes in the freestyle 70 kg weight category and will face a Japanese wrestler in the semifinals.

It is noteworthy that the World Wrestling Championship is being held in Zagreb, Croatia, from September 13 to 21. The Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team is participating with a squad of 10 athletes, while in freestyle wrestling, there are 5 competitors representing Armenia.
