Marukyan Receives Response to Letter from von der Leyen

Edmon Marukyan has received a response after two months to the letter sent to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel.

“Based on the fundamental principles underlying the EU-Armenia partnership, we expect that Armenia's judiciary and law enforcement will act with independence, integrity, and accountability in conducting these investigations, while upholding democratic principles and fundamental rights, including the provision of due process,” the official response from von der Leyen's office states.
