Armenia's Foreign Ministry on Principal Approach to Signing Peace Agreement with Azerbaijan
Signing the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement in the shortest possible time would be a significant step towards the institutionalization of established peace. This was stated by Ani Badalyan, spokesperson for the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, in response to a question from Armenpress.
“When the text of the Armenia-Azerbaijan agreement was announced for agreement on March 13 of this year, the Armenian side simultaneously expressed its readiness for the rapid signing of the agreement. This approach was reaffirmed on August 8 with the preliminary signing of the agreement, which received broad international support as an important event confirming the establishment of peace. Armenia's principled approach regarding the date of signing has not changed; signing the agreement as soon as possible will be a crucial step towards the institutionalization of established peace,” Badalyan added.
