The Preventive Measure for Vardan Ghukasian's Son is House Arrest

The Shirak region court has chosen house arrest for Spartak Ghukasian, the son of Vardan Ghukasian, for a duration of two months. This information has been reported by various media outlets.

It is noteworthy that the hearings regarding the preventive measure commenced today at 09:00 AM. It should be recalled that two criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the case of Vardan Ghukasian's son.

During the preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated by the Shirak regional investigative division of the investigative committee of Armenia, public criminal prosecution has been launched against one individual under part 1 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code (extortion by other means of coercion).

In the context of this case, a criminal proceeding has also been initiated by the Shirak regional investigative division under part 1 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism) and part 3 of Article 452 (using violence against a public official, their close relatives or dependents to interfere with the lawful service or political activities of a public official).
