Pashinyan Will Soon Visit Moscow and Meet with Putin: Simonyan

“Nikol Pashinyan will soon visit Moscow and meet with Vladimir Putin,” said the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan.

“I believe the head of state would not travel to Moscow if such a meeting were not scheduled. It is possible the Prime Minister will have meetings in a format of Prime Ministers, which is conditioned by our country's parliamentary nature, while the others have a presidential one. However, if the head of state’s visit is official or working, it cannot take place without such a meeting,” the Speaker responded.

He also added: “We are brotherly with everyone, until the moment they prove that they do not regard us in the same way. If, according to your assessment, Russia does not regard us as brotherly, then it is not brotherly.”

Commenting on the Armenian Prime Minister's statements regarding this issue, he noted: “Are they friendly towards us? I do not know. I have more doubts that they are not quite positively disposed.”
