Vance Reveals Russia's Demands

US Vice President Jay D. Vance has stated that negotiations regarding the resolution of the Russo-Ukrainian war have focused on two main issues.

According to him, Russia is demanding approximately 6000 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory that has not yet been captured through military means. At the same time, Ukraine wants to receive strong security guarantees from Europe or other partners to prevent possible future demands from Moscow.

“I think we have reached a point where we have limited the issues to these two main questions. Kyiv wants to be assured that if an agreement is reached, the Russians will not return in a few months or years to demand more,” said Jay D. Vance.
