The forerunner of political 'failure' is Robert Kocharyan, and I believe that with his bitter experience, he can bring to its knees, for example, Samvel Karapetyan or other Russian 'oligarchs',” Aleksanyan noted.

In response to a journalist's question about whether Aleksanyan fears that Samvel Karapetyan's team may have an advantage or hinder the CP in the 2026 parliamentary elections, since in his case the 'former, thief' labels will not apply, he replied: “Why not? Perhaps my brother was the head of Serzh Sargsyan's staff? Samvel Karapetyan's brother was a deputy in Serzh Sargsyan's faction. Is it possible that the actions of the Republican Party members do not carry any responsibilities? From which point do they not carry responsibilities?”
