Armenia’s Foreign Ministry Responds to Israel’s Strikes on Doha
Armenia has expressed its concern regarding Israel's targeting of residential areas in Doha and has called for restraint from both parties. This announcement was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
"Armenia is deeply concerned about the targeting of residential areas in Doha and calls on all involved parties to exercise restraint to avoid further escalation of the security situation in the region," the statement read.
The strikes directed at the Qatari capital Doha have resulted in the deaths of Khalil al-Hayya, a leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement, along with three other senior members. Qatar has condemned the strike on Hamas's political headquarters. Qatari Foreign Minister Majid al-Ansari described the attack as a gross violation of international law and norms.
