French President Emmanuel Macron has had a phone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The French leader shared updates on the progress made by the 'Coalition of the Resolute' aimed at finding solutions to the war in Ukraine.

'India and France share a determination to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. Based on friendship and strategic partnership, we will continue to move forward together to pave the way for peace,' said the French president.
