Gegham Manukyan Addresses the Criminal Case Against Andranik Chamichyan

Member of Parliament Gegham Manukyan has commented on the criminal case filed against 18-year-old Andranik Chamichyan, who is detained in relation to the 'Strikeball Case'. He stated, 'The history of the absurd criminal case against Andranik and the judicial act of keeping him in detention will one day become a textbook example of how not to be an investigator, a judge, or an NSS officer.'

It is noteworthy that tomorrow, on September 5th, at 17:00, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction will consider the detention of 18-year-old Andranik Chamichyan. The law enforcement agencies accuse the detained young man of preparing for terrorism.

Earlier, searches were conducted in the homes of members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), including MP Gegham Manukyan, Chief of Staff Vahagn Matinyan, and Gevorg Muradyan, a member of the Yeghegnadzor community council and head of the ARF Youth Union's Central Committee.

Seven individuals were arrested, including Gegham Manukyan's son, Taron Manukyan, and ARF Yerevan City Committee member Arsen Martoyan.
