Why the Russian Side Has Blocked Hundreds of Armenian Trucks

According to Auroranews, the company Spayka has failed to meet certain financial obligations, which has led the Russian side to detain the trucks.

It is noteworthy that earlier, the newspaper Past reported that recently, Russian law enforcement agencies stopped and blocked hundreds of trucks belonging to the Armenian company Spayka without any justification. The newspaper emphasized that this is not just a measure against one company, but a direct blow to the most vulnerable point of the Armenian economy.

The fact is that Spayka is the largest agribusiness holding in Armenia, and the blocking of its trucks could deal a serious blow not only to the company but also to Armenia's agricultural producers and the economy at large. Each blocked truck means not only outstanding orders but also lost income for farmers and destroyed markets for Armenian producers. If the blockage lasts for an extended period, the export chain for Armenian agricultural products could collapse.
