Putin Discusses the Role of China and India in Resolving the Ukrainian Crisis

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed hope that the "understandings" reached during negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska will contribute to resolving the situation in Ukraine, as reported by TASS.

"We value the efforts and proposals of China, India, and our other strategic partners aimed at facilitating the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis. I hope that the mutual understandings achieved at the recent Russia-U.S. summit in Alaska also work in this direction, opening a path to peace in Ukraine," stated Putin while speaking at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
