Aliyev-Xi Jinping Meeting Held

A meeting between Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev and China's President Xi Jinping has taken place in China.

During the meeting, Xi Jinping stated that Azerbaijan-China cooperation is being strengthened within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative. He emphasized the importance of transporting Chinese goods through Azerbaijan and highlighted the significance of the Trans-Caspian route.

The Chinese president noted the increase in trade between the countries, as well as the expansion of cooperation in the energy sector, including renewable energy, and in the field of digitalization.
