Former Head of Municipality Department Arrested

The former head of the Yerevan Municipality's Real Estate Management Department, Arsen Amiyan, has been arrested. In response to inquiries from Auoranews, the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia confirmed that Amiyan was arrested on charges of abuse of official power within the framework of a criminal investigation being conducted by the committee.

According to ArmLur, his arrest is linked to official misconduct involving properties owned by the sons of former State Revenue Committee Chairman Gagik Khachaturyan.
