Europe Must Now Care for Its Own Security, Says von der Leyen

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has expressed strong criticism against Russian President Vladimir Putin: "He is a predator. His proxies have been attacking us for years through hybrid methods and cyberattacks," said the European Commission President.

Von der Leyen emphasized that Europe must not only bolster Ukraine's defense but also take care of its own security. According to her, this aligns with the plan of equipping European countries with a total of 800 billion euros (part of which will be directed toward strengthening Kyiv's defense capabilities).
