Absurd Claims: Russia Did Not Provide Intelligence to Israel, Says Zakharova

Claims suggesting that Russia provided intelligence to Israel during the 12-day war with Tehran are completely absurd and aimed at undermining the strategic partnership between the two countries. This statement was made today by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing.

Earlier, a member of Iran's Expediency Council, Seyed Mohammad Sadri, claimed in an interview with the Seenergyir channel that Russia had provided intelligence to Israel during the 12-day war with Iran. According to the official, the Iranian-Israeli armed confrontation in June ‘demonstrated that the strategic alliance with Moscow is futile.’

Zakharova pointed out that these claims have also been denied by the Iranian side. The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized that such fabrications are circulated regularly and that the fact of their emergence and dissemination deserves principled evaluation from Tehran.
