Samvel Karapetyan Questioned for the Third Time: 'Zhoghovurd'

The investigator has once again gone to the National Security Service's isolation facility to question businessman Samvel Karapetyan, this time regarding an alleged money laundering case. This was reported by the daily newspaper 'Zhoghovurd.'

According to the newspaper's information, the businessman has given testimony, claiming that the accusations against him are absurd. In fact, Samvel Karapetyan has been questioned by the investigative committee three times: twice related to the phrase 'in our way' and once regarding the money laundering accusation.

Reports indicate that his latest questioning was brief, with the businessman insisting that the charges against him are baseless nonsense, and essentially, there was nothing else to say since, according to lawyers' assessments, this is a fabricated accusation.

It is worth recalling that Samvel Karapetyan came under the law enforcement's scrutiny on June 17, after defending the Armenian Apostolic Church. Recently, the Anti-Corruption Court once again extended the entrepreneur's detention, which has been appealed in the RA Court of Appeals.
