Israel Has No Intention to Leave Syria, Katz

Israel has no intention of leaving Syria. This was stated by the Israeli Minister of Defense.

“The Israel Defense Forces will remain at the top of Mount Hermon and in the buffer zone, which is necessary to protect the residents of the Golan Heights and Galilee from threats coming from Syria in the past, which is the main lesson from the events of October 7, 2023. We will also continue to protect the Druze in Syria,” wrote Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on the X social network.
