Russian Fighter Jet Collides with Iron Pole on Yerevan's Arshakunyants Avenue

An extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. A Russian fighter jet collided with an iron pole on Arshakunyants Avenue and then with a railing.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, fortunately, there were no injured parties following the accident, as per preliminary information.

It was reported that during coordinated ground transportation, a hard coupler element malfunctioned, causing the aircraft to skid.

The traffic at Erebuni Airport was halted by the patrol officers of the 1st Battalion of the Yerevan City Patrol Service under the command of Gagik Arakelyan and the military police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
