Dry and Hot Weather Expected in Armenia

Dry weather is expected across the territory of the Republic of Armenia from August 21 to 25. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

It is noted that strong winds with speeds of 15-18 m/s are expected during the evening hours in Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn.

The air temperature will not significantly change. In Yerevan, dry weather is also forecasted for August 21 to 25. Strong winds with speeds of 14-18 m/s are again expected during the evening hours.

Authorities warn that from August 20 to 25, high fire danger conditions are anticipated in Shirak, the Ararat Plain, the foothills of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor, as well as in the valleys of Syunik and Yerevan.
