Wind Intensification Expected: Weather in Armenia

Weather in the Republic of Armenia is expected to be dry from August 20-24. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

In the evening hours, wind intensification is expected in Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, with speeds of 15-18 m/s.

In Yerevan, there will also be dry weather from August 20-24. Evening winds are predicted to intensify to speeds of 14-18 m/s.

The department warns that a high fire hazard situation is expected in the Ararat Plain, as well as in the foothills of Vayots Dzor, Aragatsotn, and Kotayk, including in Yerevan.
