Turkey to Host NATO Summit for the Second Time
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has announced that the next NATO summit will take place on July 7-8, 2026, in Ankara. This information was reported by NATO's press service.
The 2026 NATO summit will be held at the Beştepe Presidential Complex in the capital of Turkey. "In the next summit, leaders will continue to work towards making NATO a stronger, fairer, and more effective alliance, ready to respond to the critical challenges threatening our security," emphasized Stoltenberg.
Turkey will be hosting the NATO summit for the second time. It is worth noting that the alliance's leaders previously met in Istanbul in 2004. In 2027, the NATO summit will be hosted by the alliance's second Muslim country, Albania.
