French President Emmanuel Macron has referred to Russia as a 'giant at Europe's doorstep'.

“President Putin of the Russian Federation rarely fulfills his obligations. He is a destabilizing force seeking to revise borders to expand his power. Russia has long become a destabilizing force and a potential threat. It is a predator, a giant at our doorstep. While I’m not saying that France will be attacked tomorrow, this is a threat to Europeans. We must not be naive,” Macron stated in an interview with TF1.
