Pashinyan and Pezeshkian Sign Statement Supporting '3+3' Format

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, have signed a statement in Yerevan expressing their readiness to support the '3+3' regional format, according to the government's press service.

They have endorsed the promotion of regional cooperation mechanisms, including the '3+3' regional advisory platform. The initiative for a six-sided cooperation framework concerning the South Caucasus was proposed by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the end of 2020.
