When one of Trump's advisers was asked in a private conversation whether security guarantees could include the deployment of U.S. troops in Ukraine, he responded affirmatively. Another adviser warned the media that this is still uncertain and that the U.S. will not publicly negotiate on this matter.

Earlier, it was also reported that the White House inquired whether Vladimir Zelensky would appear in a suit or not. The Trump-Zelensky meeting will take place today.
